Welcom

From 2002 until their aquisition by Deltek in 2006, I met the interactive development needs of Welcom — a software company focused on earned value management (EVM) and project portfolio management (PPM) solutions. All design work was done by third-party or in-house design talent.

Project diversity

• Content management system
  Extended custom, Coldfusion-driven content management system
• Website
  Created and maintained templates, which were a mix of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Coldfusion.
• Custom applications
  Developed a database-driven, lead analysis application that allowed for human filtering and routing of incoming leads. Required interaction with existing Customer Resource Management tool.
• Product demos
  Synched voiceover, imagery and animation in Flash-based demos that could be navigated according to a user’s pace and interests, or autorun as a tradeshow piece.
• Special interest
  Programmed a Director-based application used during a user conference celebrating 20 years as a company.
